Gas separators (ГО) and gas separators with filters (ФГО) in accord with TU U 28.7-24607422-025:2007 are intended for removal of gas-air mixture from non-aggressive liquids with kinematic viscosity of 0,55 – 6,0 cCt before delivery thereof to measuring system. ФГО, apart from removal of gas-air mixture, fulfils the function of the liquid filtration.

Removal of vapors and airfrom the liquid treated promotes increasing the accuracy of its measurement with flow meters.

ГО and ФГО are made as built-up welded structures. In connections where in the process of operation of an assembly one part moves towards the other part, one of parts is made of spark- proof material.
